Arrival/Check-In and Communications Process
·Please bring your twirler to back of the school, and enter through the back door.A Twirl-M’s sign will be on the door so you know which one.
·In this back hallway will be a table featuring your student’s mailbox.Check your mailbox each week for any handouts or any type of communication.
·Any communication to the Twirl-M’s should go in Miss Rhonda’s mailbox.
·If you have payments, please have them in an envelope, marked with your student’s name and the payment topic.Give this envelope to your student and she will place in the money box located just inside the gym door.STUDENTS SHOULD BRING THIS IN, NOT PARENTS.
·At your student’s class time, a teacher will come out in the hallway and invite your student to come into the gym.Students are to bring ALL their supplies/coats/etc. into the gym with them.DO NOT LEAVE IN THE HALLWAY.
·Do not enter through or sit in the cafeteria.This will be were our Ballet/Bodywork Technique Class will be held as well as a couple of our Strut Classes.
·Parents and siblings are to remain in the hallway.Chairs will be in the hallway for your comfort.
·Parents in ALL classes will be invited in to view classes on the following dates:Monday, October 20; Monday, November 17; as well as during the dress rehearsal on 12/4 at Western.
Returning students from Spring 2008 are invited to perform in this parade and potential Entertainment Stage Performance.
Team Nationals Dance Twirls
Look for one or more community performance opportunities.
These will include WLN Soccer, Detroit Ignition, and possibly others.
In order make our lineups and routine construction consistent and at the level of performance perfection that we have come to expect, you will have to commit to ALL the performances to participate in any of them.
A complete list and practice schedule will be announced in August.
9th Annual Twirls & Treats Recital
Friday, December 5, 2008
Location TBD, at one of the area high school auditoriums
Arrival time 5:30 p.m.
Show time 7:00 p.m.
AfterGlow Treats 9:00 p.m.
In order to participate, students will need to attend MANDATORY rehearsals in November & December 1st on Monday nights, and a MANDATORY Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, Dec. 4th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in its ENTIRETY!!
Family and friends join our twirlers to watch the annual Twirls & Treats Recital. Each student participates in at least three twirling acts. It's a great show and is free of charge to all attendees.
Team Jazz will perform its all-new Show Twirl Production Routine featuring 26 students from Advance through Special Beginner Twirlers.
The 2008 Fall Session will feature the Twirl-M's 4th annual performance in the South Lyon Pumpkinfest Parade on Saturday, October 4th.
